Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare/ Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with IRS guidelines and state tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax projections.
- Conduct research on tax issues and assist in developing tax strategies for clients.
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation for tax compliance.
- Assist in resolving tax-related inquiries from clients, the IRS, and other taxing authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with management to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables.
- Assist with other tax and accounting projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, EA, or in-progress certification preferred, but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, CCH Tax or similar).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
