Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bedford, MA for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney. The role involves client conferences advising clients on estate planning strategies, drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, tax avoidance/minimization, collaboration with real estate and business attorneys and managing estate administration and probate processes. The attorney will also handle succession planning matters and provide comprehensive legal counsel to individuals and families to minimize tax liability and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in Estate Planning and Succession Planning
- Experience in Estate Law, Probate, and Estate Administration
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and current bar admission in Massachusetts
- Ability to work independently in an on-site professional setting
- Prior experience in client handling complex legal matters is required
Salary commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
- Provide high level understanding and experience drafting a full range of estate planning documents
- Experience with planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, minimizing gift and estate tax
- Communicate with clients in person, by phone, Zoom and email
- Draft & file probate documents, attend hearings with the probate court as necessary

Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in advising clients on estate planning and tax avoidance / minimizing techniques
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail; able to work independently; and possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate planning for business owners with real estate/business counsel and financial consultants
- License to practice law in MA (NH a plus)
- Ability to comfortably commute to Bedford, MA
