What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Framer — New Construction & Remodels position at Browix Construction / Gainesville Fence & Deck Pros?
Overview: Browix is an established Gainesville general contractor with a steady pipeline of new construction and government-funded rehab work. We run W-2 crews, pay on time every time, and keep our people busy year-round. We're looking for framers who can walk onto a job and run it — not learn it.
Compensation: $18.50/hr base plus a production bonus — the faster and cleaner you work, the more you take home. Top framers earn the equivalent of ~$35/hr. Bonuses are paid on work that passes inspection. Type: Full-time, W-2 Location: Gainesville, FL and surrounding job sites
What you'll do:
- Wall, floor, and roof framing on new construction and remodels
- Layout from blueprints — plates, openings, headers, load points
- Set and sheath, square and plumb, ready for the next trade
What we require (no exceptions):
- 3 years framing experience
- Can read and lay out from prints without hand-holding
- Reliable transportation
- Show up on time, every day
