Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Metal Framers with proven experience to oversee and coordinate a wide range of construction projects, specializing in metal and wood framing. This is not welding position. Experience in constructing metal framing for interior new commercial buildings is required. Reading blueprints, verifying the accuracy of the blueprints to the layout and knowing how to start the project is required.
Those with no experience as a Lead Commercial Metal Framer need not apply.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project manager/superintendent through work phases effectively while monitoring progress and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial and residential carpentry.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation related to construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills
- Commercial Metal Framer will possess the expertise with the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for detailed craftsmanship.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
