- You will assist our attorneys who provide tax strategy advice and defense for business owners, investors, and other successful people.
- Our organization’s growth depends on doing excellent work for clients, first-rate client service, and striving to provide as much value as possible to each client relationship. This is a very forward-facing position. You will be in constant communication with clients and the face of our engagements.
- Your success on client engagements depends on your ability to be flexible, multi-task, and wear various hats. Clients generally come to us with one issue but often have multiple challenges that get addressed during their matters. Success is defined by what is best for the client given the resources that they have and by the results we can achieve.
- You will manage legal documents and assist in case management, ensuring accurate filing and organization.
- You will draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with attention to detail.
- This is primarily an in-office role with some flexibility in terms of working hours.
- Expected paralegal output is 1750 annual billable hours, based on a 48-work week year and an 80% utilization rate.
- We formally require at least 50 hours of professional learning annually and encourage our legal staff to have a multidisciplinary knowledge base.

The Ideal Candidate
- You have at least two years of legal assistant/paralegal experience
- Paralegal certificate is a plus
- Corporate Governance experience is a plus
- You must be autonomously willing to learn, grow, and improve.
- You must be a nice, positive, and personable person.
- You are not content with mediocrity or comfort. In the past, perhaps you have run circles around others around you.
- You enjoy people and being part of a team.
- You enjoy clients and client work. You are empathetic, provide amazing client services, and are driven to get them results.
- You are interesting and have diverse experiences contributing to your unique perspective.
- Your resume and experience should demonstrate a track record of success in college and other environments. It should indicate that you are growth-oriented and take on increasing challenges.
Compensation
- $55,000-$65,000 starting salary, based on experience and the value you can provide to our organization. After completing a six to twelve-month onboarding period, you will be eligible for a salaried position starting at $70,000 annual compensation. Certain exceptionally qualified candidates may be eligible to become salaried employees immediately upon hire. More experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
