Physical Therapist Assistant – Full Time
Pay Range: $24.00–$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver skilled therapy interventions in our 5-star skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide physical therapy interventions as ordered by the referring physician under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Communicate patient progress or challenges to the supervising therapist to update goals and adjust care plans as needed

• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with state laws and under co-signature of the supervising therapist

• Carry out therapy sessions focused on areas such as:

  • Range of Motion and joint mobility

  • Pain management and muscle strengthening

  • Posture, balance, body mechanics, and gait/ambulation activities

  • Cardiovascular endurance

  • Patient and family education

  • Implementation of individualized home exercise programs

• Licensed and registered in New York State as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
