Role Overview
The Specialist, Quality Systems Compliance supports the development, implementation, and governance of Brother’s Quality Management System (QMS) across the end-to-end supply chain—including manufacturing, distribution, and 3PL operations. This role ensures compliance with corporate, regulatory, and customer requirements by maintaining QMS documentation, coordinating audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, consistency, and operational performance.
The position will also serve as system administrator and key user for the electronic QMS platform, supporting configuration, rollout, and adoption once implemented.

About Where We Work
Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Duties & Responsibilities
QMS Governance & Administration
- Support design and implementation of an integrated QMS for the Supply Chain organization aligned to ISO 9001 and Brother global quality standards
- Develop and maintain controlled documentation, including procedures, standard operating instructions, forms, and templates to ensure consistency and compliance across sites
- Manage and maintain the electronic QMS platform, including user access, workflows, document control, and training records once implemented
- Coordinate QMS reviews, internal audits, and management review activities; track completion of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure QMS processes are standardized across manufacturing, distribution, and service operations
- Prepare for and support internal, customer, and external audits (ISO, 3PL, regulatory, or customer quality audits)
- Maintain records of certifications, audit schedules, findings, and follow-up actions
- Partner with operations, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and control requirements
- Develop and maintain risk registers and compliance tracking dashboards
- Support supplier and third-party logistics (3PL) compliance assessments
- Review quality documentation (PPAP, FAI, shipping test reports, inspection records) for conformance
- Coordinate supplier quality evaluations, scorecards, and corrective action follow-up
- Assist in establishing consistent compliance standards for all 3PL sites handling Brother products
- Develop and deliver training related to QMS processes, document control, audit readiness, and compliance standards
- Create communication materials and quality alerts to increase awareness and reinforce compliance culture
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 8D, or PDCA methodologies to drive process standardization and waste reduction
- Maintain compliance dashboards and KPIs (audit results, CAPA closure rates, training completion)
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports for management and internal stakeholders
- Support preparation of documentation for management reviews and global quality reporting
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
Minimum 5 years
- Experience in quality systems, compliance, or audit within a manufacturing or supply-chain environment
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
- ASQ certification, such as: Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA); Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA); Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint and workflow tools preferred
- Strong understanding of QMS elements, internal auditing, and document control
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar QMS frameworks
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA QM, ETQ, Master Control, or similar electronic QMS systems
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret quality data and identify trends
- Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions

Base Salary
- The targeted base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $ 100,000 per year.
- Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data.
- Not a Bonus Eligible Role: This role is not eligible to participate in Brother's bonus incentive plan. The base pay accounts for the entirety of the role's annual cash compensation.
