- Knowledge of marine materials and systems, such as wood, composites, fiberglass, sealants, and basic mechanical or electrical components used in boats.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements accurately and follow build specifications with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity to identify and correct build or repair issues efficiently.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a professional approach to working with colleagues, supervisors, and occasionally customers.
- Physical capability to perform manual work, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces, while maintaining a focus on safety.
