Job Summary |
This role will assist the Director of Servant Leadership & Blanchard Leadership Institute in implementing a new framework for the future Servant Leadership Center, with a focus on core values, developing ourselves, engaging with others, and impacting our world. This job centers on relationship-building, in and out of the classroom. This position works with a variety of ages in the area of educating the head, hands, and heart.
Key Responsibilities |
Coordinates and oversees the delivery of Developmental Sprints for students in grades 1,3,5,7,9, 11, and faculty at Brookstone.
Coordinates and implements non-Sprint/leadership programming for grades 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, & 12.
Assists with PS Week of Service, LS Week of Service, and IS Week of Service
Organizes after-school service projects for LS and IS
Helps to facilitate the Seniors in the Classroom effort with the Director of SL
Leads discussions about servant leadership topics through the IS Servant Leadership class and monthly meetings with PS and LS students with the SL assistant
Assists with planning and implementation of Servant Leadership Department efforts including but not limited to Veterans Day, Thanks-for-Giving Week, Family Day of Service in December, MLK Week Focus, Celebrating Cultures Week efforts, etc. Also assists with other SL Department events including but not limited to Upper School Service Fair, Middle and Upper Schools Days of Service
Meets regularly with SL Department to plan activities
Assists with other efforts and programs of the Servant Leadership/Blanchard Leadership Institute Department, as assigned by the Director and other duties as assigned by school.

Education: College Degree required
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Trained Developmental Sprint Leader.
An understanding of students and the community.
Ability to lead, think independently, and get along well with others.
Physical Requirements |
As needed, flexible hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Must be able to lift over 20 pounds
The ability to perform work in extreme heat and cold, while moving about both on and off campus
Sitting and standing for extended periods of time
Must qualify to drive a school bus
