Sr. Data Scientist
Miami, FL (4 days onsite/1 day remote)

Position Summary
Our enterprise cruise line client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team. The Senior Data Scientist role is a hands-on technical leader responsible for driving advanced analytics initiatives, mentoring team members, and introducing modern data capabilities (especially around ETL and Databricks).
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex, high-impact analytics and data initiatives
- Serve as technical expert across modeling, data, and systems
- Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts (while remaining hands-on ~75%)
- Design and improve data pipelines and workflows (ETL)
- Introduce and scale modern tools (e.g., Databricks)
- Partner closely with adjacent teams (e.g., pricing/automation teams)
- Help shape the future-state data architecture and workflows
What We’re Looking For
- 6 years of experience in data science / analytics / data engineering hybrid roles
- Strong SQL predictive modeling foundation
- Experience with:
- ETL pipelines
- Databricks (or similar modern data platforms)
- Proven ability to mentor others and elevate team capabilities
- Strong business acumen stakeholder management
