Associate Salesforce Developer
What You’ll Do
- Assist in developing and customizing the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools like Flows and Custom Metadata.
- Support integration of third-party applications such as Amazon Connect or Live Vox.
- Help test and debug code, integrations, and contribute to basic technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot minor production issues under guidance and assist with implementing fixes.
- Learn and apply Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and new technologies.
- Use Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and deliver code through pipelines to production with team support.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent coursework/experience).
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts from coursework or projects.
- Familiarity with Salesforce basics (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud) through internships, academic projects, or certifications.
- Exposure to Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL (academic or self-study experience is acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Willingness to learn modern development tools (VSCode, Git) and Agile methodologies.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, App Builder, or Administrator.
- Experience with Salesforce data tools (e.g., Data Loader) or CI/CD concepts.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Interest in CMS systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).
