About the Role

Brooksource is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the planning and execution of complex infrastructure and capital projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, analyzing project performance, and partnering with project managers, engineers, and project controls professionals to ensure projects remain on track. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Primavera P6 experience who enjoys solving problems, collaborating across teams, and supporting large-scale engineering and construction initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Develop, update, and maintain Level 1 and Level 2 project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
• Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, activity codes, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Apply scheduling best practices using constraints, leads, lags, and critical path methodology.
• Generate reports, layouts, dashboards, and filters within Primavera P6.
• Analyze schedules to identify critical path activities, schedule drivers, delays, and opportunities for optimization.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of project schedules and project controls deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to communicate schedule status and project progress.
• Integrate schedule and project data using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, PivotTables, formulas, and macros.
• Identify schedule logic errors, sequencing issues, unrealistic durations, and project risks while recommending mitigation strategies.
• Manage multiple project schedules simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting reporting deadlines.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or construction scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, macros, and data analysis.
• Experience with Power Query and Power BI is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource loading, schedule logic, and critical path methodology.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
