IT Project Manager

W2 Contract (option to hire)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to support the integration of an EAM software into our enterprise systems. This role will be pivotal in aligning business needs with technical solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering the project on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution and delivery of a software integration project across multiple departments including IT, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
- Ensure the software aligns with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and internal quality systems.
- Facilitate change management, training, and user adoption strategies.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
- Coordinate data migration, system configuration, testing, and validation activities.
- Identify and resolve project issues and roadblocks in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
- 5 years of IT project management experience, with at least 2 years managing enterprise software implementations.
- Proven experience with EAM/CMMS platforms (i.e IBM Maximo)
- Strong experience with Smartsheet or similar project/resources management tool.
- Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry is required
- Strong understanding of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with integration tools and middleware (e.g., APIs, ESBs).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with EAM platforms.
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and reliability engineering.
