WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create and update design drawings using CAD or similar design software
- Assist with project designs, specifications, and cost estimates
- Utilize GIS and mapping tools (such as ArcGIS) to support project planning and documentation
- Gather field data and support site visits as required
- Coordinate with engineers and team members to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
- Contribute to the preparation and organization of project documentation
- Participate in occasional travel to project sites for data collection and field support
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (academic projects and work experience considered)
- Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- Experience with design software (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS or similar mapping software)
- Willingness to travel and support field work as needed
- Ability to create and update design drawings and project documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with engineers and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn new software and technical concepts quickly
