What You'll Do
- Partner with application owners and technical teams to develop, document, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to identify recovery gaps and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate and facilitate disaster recovery testing activities, validate recovery procedures, and document results for continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and application teams to support disaster recovery readiness
- Analyze application dependencies, recovery objectives, and operational risks across enterprise systems
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of disaster recovery governance, documentation, and planning tools
- Facilitate meetings, drive action items, and ensure disaster recovery initiatives remain on schedule across multiple stakeholders
- 5 years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Business Analysis, IT Project Coordination, or a related technical discipline
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively across both technical and business teams
- Working knowledge of infrastructure concepts including servers, networking, application environments, and enterprise IT operations
- Experience with Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning methodologies and risk management best practices
- Familiarity with ITSM and governance platforms such as ServiceNow, Cherwell, Fusion Framework, Archer, or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently in a process-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent professional experience; CBCP or other DR/BC certifications are a plus
