Qualifications:
- Current LPN or RN license in the State of Arkansas
- Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care
Position Summary:
The RN is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during their shift, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with physician orders and facility policies. This role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating care plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and oversee comprehensive patient care
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants and unit staff
- Ensure accurate charting, medication administration, and care documentation
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, weights, and treatment plans
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards
- Participate in staff training, orientation, and committee activities
- Review narcotic records and required clinical documentation
- Assist in leadership duties as assigned, including covering for the Director of Nursing when needed
