What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist position at Brooklyn Hospital Center?
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing all routine radiographic procedures in the main department and all satellite areas.
Qualifications:
* Graduate of American Medical Association approved two (2) year program for Radiologic Technology.
* Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Staff Radiology Technologist; comparable hospital setting -- preferred.
* Current New York State Licensed in Radiologic Technology
* Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist -- Preferred
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
* Knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic equipment in use with the department and satellite areas.
* Knowledge of Radiology drugs, i.e. contrast media, bowel preps, etc.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
* Time Management Skills
* Basic computer and data entry skills
