The Tampa Bay Bottling Company is Hiring! We are currently searching for Manufacturing Operators to join our team. Our position(s) start at $17 per hour.
Essential Roles And Responsibilities Include The Following
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
O (Occasionally) = 0-2.5 hours/day F (Frequently) = 2.5 - 5.5 hours/day C (Constantly) = 5.5 hours/day
Must follow requirements as appropriate for areas of the facility: hair net, beard net, disposable protective gowns, captive foot wear, ear plugs, safety glasses and gloves for extended periods of time.
Essential Roles And Responsibilities Include The Following
- Demonstrate Safe Operating Procedures.
- Ensure components are properly counted, labeled and stored when returned.
- Ensure correct caps are being utilized and are stored properly for consumption.
- Ensure quality of finished goods at assigned work station. i.e. proper fill height, caps are being applied correctly
- Fill out all paperwork accurately and completely to include quality checks and component tracking.
- Follow company GMP policies including proper use of PPE while performing assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Make productive use of work time. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor line status and adjust equipment speeds accordingly to maintain line balance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform CIP for filler in accordance with SOP.
- Support compliance activities associated with the Quality Management System including but not limited to the following: SQF Program, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Verify that all tools needed for Operator QC checks are calibrated and in good working condition
- Verify that filler is set-up properly and is ready for production. i.e. correct change parts are installed.
- Verify that Filler operator paperwork is correct for product to be produced, correct lot code, correct batch, component part number is correct, etc.
- Work in a safe manner and keep abreast of the SDS provisions and updates while adhering to food safety program guidelines.
