Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dockhand to join our team in Brookfield, CT. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily operations of the dock. The Dock Hand position requires a willingness and the ability to assist in many tasks throughout the marina, these include and are not limited to:
- Treating all customers with first-class service.
- Performing daily opening and closing duties, daily dock walks, and grounds maintenance.
- Contributing towards a safe, healthy, clean, friendly, and fun environment.
- Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
- Cleaning docks, walkways, and all other areas of the facility.
- Maintaining the safety of yourself and guests.
- Assisting guests with any boating needs.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dockhand or similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
