What is the Paraprofessional Role?
As a paraprofessional at Brooke, you provide small group or 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with special needs under the supervision of a special education teacher. You collaborate with colleagues, including classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators, to meet the needs of your students. You also work with staff to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans, ensuring that student learning and classroom behavior goals are met, and assist the lead teacher in observing, recording, and charting behavior.
Hours for this role are 7:15 am - 4:20 pm daily and compensation ranges from $23/hr-$30/hr
