Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager who owns the performance, structure, and daily execution of the Inside Sales Team, including Account Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Customer Care. This role is fully responsible for customer service standards, team leadership, staffing needs, reporting, and ensuring the department consistently meets or exceeds KPI expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and hold the inside sales team accountable for service, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- Set expectations, run sales huddles, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent performance.
- Maintain top‑tier customer experience; handle escalations and service issues promptly.
- Own quoting, order entry, CRM discipline, and all inside-sales processes/SOPs.
- Manage essential reports (KPI dashboards, quote conversion, customer activity).
- Provide concise weekly/monthly insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure the department has the right staffing, structure, and training.
- Partner closely with Outside Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics to align communication and customer expectations.
- Identify improvement opportunities in workflow, accuracy, and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- Experience leading Inside Sales or Customer Service teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and team‑management skills.
- CRM proficiency and strong Excel/reporting abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
