Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management. This role involves supervising construction teams, ensuring safety compliance, managing project timelines, and maintaining quality standards. The Construction Foreman will play a pivotal role in delivering projects on time, within scope, and according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction processes accurately.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and enforce safety standards across the site.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress through onsite management skills.
- Supervise subcontractors and labor teams; provide guidance on technical issues related to mobile homes, residential, and commercial work or other specialized tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites.
- Knowledge of contracts, budgeting, project scheduling, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required.
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams of various sizes in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
