What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians position at BronxCare Health System?
BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital system, now has excellent opportunities for full-time and part-time Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians. BronxCare’s ER provides more than 127,000 visits annually, including 30,000 pediatric ER visits. It is a designated Primary Stroke Center and Heart Attack PCI treatment center. BronxCare also has 16 accredited residency and fellowship programs, including a large Pediatric Residency, in addition to a 10-bed Pediatric Emergency area, 20-bed inpatient pediatric unit, and five-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Applicants must be board certified in Pediatrics with Pediatric Emergency experience or board eligible/board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Certification in ATLS/ACLS/PALS, DEA registration, as well as a New York State medical license, are also required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000–$330,000, with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits, including occurrence-based malpractice coverage.
