Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role located in Bronx, NY. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, recording and reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Daily tasks include managing bookkeeping activities, processing journal entries, and using accounting software to maintain up-to-date financial data. The role may also involve collaborating with other team members to analyze financial information and support financial decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Statements preparation and analysis
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping and managing general ledger accounts
- Knowledge of Accounting Software and related tools
- Familiarity with Finance principles and practices
- Strong skills in creating accurate Journal Entries (Accounting)
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Bachelor’s / Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous bookkeeping experience in an office setting is beneficial
