Bronwealth Financial & Tax is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience to join our growing team.

Our bookkeeping clients are primarily established businesses generating approximately $3 million to $10 million in annual revenue. Because we work with many clients in the same industry, the bookkeeping structure and operational needs are often very similar from client to client, although some business owners also have additional side businesses or entities.

- Conduct client phone calls and answer bookkeeping-related questions
- Review financial records and identify items requiring client follow-up

Qualifications
- 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience
- Experience communicating directly with business owners or clients
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, payroll accounting, and financial statements
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and improving technology and workflow systems
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines
- Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a CPA, accounting, bookkeeping, or tax firm
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or UZIO
- Experience with TaxDome or another accounting CRM/workflow platform
- Experience preparing books for business tax returns
- Experience working with S corporations and closely held businesses
- The ability to prepare basic to moderately complex individual and business tax returns would be a significant advantage and may create additional growth opportunities within the firm
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and capabilities. We are currently interviewing candidates in the range of $25–$32 per hour.
Candidates with stronger client-facing experience, tax preparation capabilities, or the ability to take greater ownership of client relationships may qualify toward the higher end of the range.
