We are now Hiring a Director of Wellness!
Compensation: Full-time Salary, Depending upon experience
Location: Broken Sound Club - 2401 Willow Springs Dr, Boca Raton, Florida 33496
Essential Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the wellness, fitness, and spa facilities.
- Ensure all services are delivered at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all areas within the wellness, fitness, and spa departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of supplies and equipment.
Associate Management:

- Recruit, train, and manage staff, including therapists, fitness trainers, instructors, aestheticians, and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
Members’ Experience:
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement new wellness, fitness, and spa programs and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the wellness, fitness, and spa department budget.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement strategies to drive revenue and optimize operational costs.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Work with the marketing team to promote wellness, fitness, and spa services.
- Develop promotional campaigns and special offers to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
- Participate in community and industry events to promote the wellness, fitness, and spa offerings.
Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure that all wellness, fitness, and spa facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any facility issues promptly.
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Program Development:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in wellness, fitness, and spa services.
- Develop and implement new wellness, fitness, and spa programs, treatments, and services.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate wellness initiatives throughout the property.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Excellent computer skills required

Education & Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, health and fitness, or a related field. A certification in spa or fitness management is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the wellness, fitness, and spa industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful wellness and fitness programs.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Knowledge of wellness trends, fitness training, treatments, and services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
