Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards
- Support bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy periods, and assisting hosts/hostesses as needed
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or upscale environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
- Previous experience in nightclub or hospitality environments is advantageous but not required
