SUBJECT: Brockton After Dark – Summer Drama Advisor 2026
A Summer Advisor is required during the Mayor’s Brockton After Dark program, held at Brockton High School’s Little Theater from Monday July 6, 2026 through Thursday August 20, 2026. Drama will be held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
●Familiarity with Brockton Public School policies governing facility use
●Relevant degree in theater or related field and/or at least 3-5 years of theater/drama experience
●Experience with curriculum design, drama instruction that incorporates equitable and inclusive teaching strategies, and student-centered teaching and learning practices
●Must possess an active CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Ensure that students adhere to the regulations governing use of facilities scheduled through the Facility Rental Office.
2.Coordinate access to authorized areas by lessees.
3.Act as a strong liaison between Brockton Public Schools, Brockton After Dark personnel, and the Brockton Police on duty.
4.Other duties as directed by Clayton Barros, Director of Youth Affairs and Special Projects, Jazmine Bradsher, Director of Social Services, and Kenneth Thompson, Director of Facilities.
Compensation: $40.89 per hour
