Title: Assistant Group Leader
Reports to: ASAP Site Coordinator
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Suitable BRC
- 9 months of childcare experience
- Proof of physical within the past year
- Proof of MMR vaccine/immunity
- First aid & CPR certification
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain professional behavior at all times, including confidentiality.
- Meet and maintain licensing and regulation requirements, as well as national accreditation guidelines.
- Provide a welcoming and positive learning environment for children.
- Maintain the physical environment in a safe, sanitary, and orderly manner.
- Keep accurate records of daily attendance, meal counts, and other required forms.
- Participate in recommended training, conferences, courses, and other professional development growth opportunities.
- Work as scheduled with flexibility and availability during the program’s hours of operation, including reassignment to different programs as needed. A split shift is worked during the school year, full day shifts are worked in the summer and school vacations.
