Project/Construction Manager

As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking a Project/Construction Manager to join our team of experienced professionals located at our office in Irving, TX.

Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will be involved with designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing automated controls systems.

Responsibilities may include:

• Lead all phases of construction and layout modification projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage project schedules, sequencing, and recovery plans to meet key milestones
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting; drive corrective actions to stay on budget
• Manage subcontractor procurement, RFP creation, contracting, and overall performance
• Coordinate all trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, etc.) to ensure efficient and conflict-free execution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, clients, architects, and engineers; manage expectations and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and quality standards
• Lead site safety efforts and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements
• Manage scope, change orders, and project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and reporting
• Oversee billing, pay applications, and financial reporting in coordination with accounting
• Lead inspections, permitting, testing, commissioning, and project closeout to ensure successful completion and turnover
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to support project success
• Supervise and support field staff, subcontractors and project team members

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience with construction, office renovations, tenant improvements, or interior fit-outs
• Must be customer focused and action oriented
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is an asset
• Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and inspection processes
• Financial responsibility for projects ranging from $500K to $10M
• College diploma or University degree in relevant field of study (Engineering or related fields)
• This position does require travel (approximately 30%)
