Our law firm is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of New Jersey Title Supervisor. This position will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day title operations, supporting the review and resolution of title issues, and ensuring that title-related tasks are handled accurately, timely, and in compliance with firm, client, and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, sound judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role requires someone who can balance hands-on title work with team oversight, problem-solving, and communication across attorneys, paralegals, management, and outside parties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the New Jersey foreclosure title team
- Review, prioritize, and assist with resolving title issues and title curative matters
- Monitor team workloads to ensure tasks, updates, and deadlines are completed timely
- Provide guidance, support, and direction to title staff
- Communicate with attorneys, internal teams, vendors, and outside parties as needed
- Review file updates, title documents, and related case activity for accuracy
- Assist with escalated title issues and help identify next steps for resolution
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, internal procedures, and legal timelines
- Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting, workflow tracking, and process improvements
- Support training, coaching, and development of team members
- Help identify gaps, bottlenecks, or recurring issues within the title process
