What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant or RVT position at Broadway Veterinary Hospital?
We are looking for a full time or part time VA or RVT with experience.
Our hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (General Practice)
- Monday – Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Urgent Care)
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Rotating Saturday availability is required)
We have a variety of 10 hour shifts.
For example: 7am-530am/730am-6pm/8am-630pm
Urgent care: 11am-9pm
This position requires a friendly and up-beat personality. Excellent customer service skills. The ability to work well in a fast paced work environment but also pay attention to details.
We are looking for someone with a great attitude, someone who has the desire and drive to do well and is self motivated.
Must be comfortable working with and handling a variety of animals (Cats/Dogs/Birds/Pocket Pets/Exotics).
Must be willing to take direction from Doctors and RVT's and Managers/Directors.
Must be willing to work some Saturdays.
Salary depends on experience overall. Can be flexible on salary.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
