Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues using advanced diagnostic tools and automotive diagnostics techniques.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on powersports vehicles, including engine repairs, suspension work, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics, and assembly tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical systems repair tools efficiently and safely.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify vehicle problems quickly and accurately.
- Perform vehicle inspections, routine maintenance services, and safety checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), UTVs, motorcycles, and related components with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; assist in heavy lifting when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering advice on vehicle care and maintenance.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in powersports or automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, suspension components, brakes, electrical diagnostics, and automotive systems repair.
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with motorcycle operation or riding is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Knowledge of powersports engine repair procedures specific to ATVs, UTVs, or motorcycles is preferred.
- Familiarity with dealership operations including sales support is a plus.
