Responsible for providing transportation for the residents and staff of Broadmead.2. Responsible for ensuring that safety is given the highest priority when transporting residents outside of the community.3. Responsible for making recommendations regarding the maintenance, upkeep, emission testing, and other service requirements for the vehicles used for resident transportation.4. Responsible for handling emergency situations when called upon which could arise while away from the community, and must have the ability to exercise good judgment while maintaining composure in such cases.5. Ability to respond to residents who may become ill while away from Broadmead.6. Ability to assist residents with getting in and out of the car, or on and off the bus.7. Ability to operate the wheelchair lifts on the bus for those residents requiring such assistance.8. Able and willing to work evenings and weekends when called upon to do so.9. Be able to provide back-up assistance at the Reception Desk when not driving. These duties include, but are not limited to, providing general information for residents or visitors to Broadmead, delivering packages, assisting with resident cart rides, distributing Holly House keys, and proper delivery of newspapers and mail to residents on Hallowell and Taylor Halls.
