Associate Project Manager, Construction Regular Full-Time Frisco, TX, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1511 Join Brixmor as an Associate Project Manager, Construction, in our Houston, TX office to help oversee redevelopment, tenant improvement, and new construction projects at our properties. You’ll participate in management of all project phases, ensuring timely delivery within budget while collaborating with tenants and consultants. This role demands strong construction expertise, communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects. Regular regional travel is required, with potential work outside the region based on workload. Responsibilities Assist in managing construction projects, including redevelopment, tenant improvements, and new builds, covering: Project planning and estimating Lease exhibit preparation and abstracting Plan and entitlement reviews including zoning research Consultant hiring and coordination Bid, award, and contract negotiation/administration Ensure projects meet lease commitments, budgets, and schedules Track and deliver multiple tenant improvement projects on time Support capital improvement projects as needed Assist with projects outside the primary region when required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture (preferred) 2+ years hands-on experience working with a contractor, architect, or owner’s representative Experience with entitlement processes, estimating, scheduling, contract administration and management, and on-site construction supervision Ability to read architectural and civil/site plans Experience with bid review and qualification processes Excellent communication and computer skills Retail commercial construction experience preferred Brixmor offers a hybrid work schedule (first three days of the week in the office, the balance remote optional), very competitive pay commensurate with background and responsibilities plus a benefits and perks package that supports career engagement, growth, good health and connection with teammates and our communities.
