What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026 BWMS CampU-Building Substitute Teacher position at Brittany Woods Middle School?
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Current Missouri Substitute Certification
- Previous teaching experience or equivalent in urban settings preferred
Dates of Summer Learning include:
- Staff PD and Workdays on June 5th-June 8th, 2026 (Substitute attendance on these days will be determined by the Administrator)
- Student learning from June 9th-July 2nd, 2026
- Contract Time Mon-Thurs 7:45am-12:15pm
- NO FRIDAYS & No School June 19th (Juneteenth observed)
- Staff are paid for days worked/hourly; no pay for days not worked
- Prior to June 5th each site will have staff meetings and collaborative planning time for up to an additional 6 hours of pay to be determined by the Administrative Intern
- Positions contingent upon enrollment
Compensation:
- The School District of University City offers a competitive salary of $84/day for CampU Substitutes
Pay Dates:
- Days worked June 5th-June 18th will be paid on June 26th
- Days worked June 22nd-July 2nd will be paid on July 10th
