Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Swim Instructors to inspire confidence and foster a love of swimming among learners of all ages. We have two locations: One in the 24 Hour gym in Riverside and one in the 24 Hour gym in Moreno Valley. In this role, you will deliver engaging, safe, and effective swimming lessons that promote water safety, physical fitness, and skill development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students achieve their goals while creating a positive and motivating environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on saving lives. We are a water safety survival school first. Responsibilities
- Lead structured swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, safety protocols, and water survival skills with clarity and patience
- Monitor participants closely during lessons to ensure safety, providing immediate assistance if needed
- Incorporate fun activities such as water games to enhance engagement
- Manage behavior effectively by applying positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- We are looking for big personalities and enthusiasm. We prefer energetic individuals that are not afraid to be silly with our young swimmers.
- Prior experience as a Lifeguard or in water safety supervision is welcome but not necessary
- A background in sports, teaching, coaching, or physical education instruction is welcome but not necessary
- Knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety standards is welcome but not necessary. We will train all employees on swim techniques and safety standards.
- Experience working with children is welcome but not necessary
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and maintain a fun work environment is a must
- Prior swim experience is welcome but not necessary. We will train you on our swim curriculum.
