Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay ranges between $20-$22/hr. based on experience and qualifications.
• 5% increase for lifeguard certification We will pay you to attend lifeguard training!

As a Senior Swim Instructor, you will be provided the training to teach swim lessons to children and adults, starting at 3-months old, following the British Swim School aquatics program that is gentle, fun, and progressive. You will be assigned to a class schedule developed by manager(s) and interact with swimmers, and parents and/or guardians.

Your Responsibilities:

• Complete all required British Swim School Aquatics-specific training.
• Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards.
• Work in the water for the duration of the shift (4 hours).
• Reports directly to, and supports the Aquatics Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma, equivalent.
• Experience working with children.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Formally trained in all four strokes.
• Excellent communicator.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work at any of our locations in Saugus, Stoneham, and Beverly.
• Competitive swim background.
• Customer service skills.
• Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certifications.
