Overview
A lovely family of three in Tribeca is seeking a fantastic weekend nanny to help care for their two-year-old son. The schedule for this role is somewhat flexible, but the family is looking for approximately 20 hours, and the ideal schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9am-7pm. Both parents are busy but involved, so they are looking for someone who is able to handle full charge care, and also work as a team.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare, including nap and feeding schedules and bedtime and hygiene routines
- Accompanying the child to classes, the park, and playdates on a regular basis.
- Keeping up with child related household duties over the weekend, such as basic laundry, tidying, and simple meal prep
- Flexible to spend 1–2 nights per month in the Hamptons during the year, and every weekend in the Hamptons from June-August
Qualifications
- Extremely responsible and reliable
- Trustworthy and safety conscious
- Playful and active – able to keep up with a very busy toddler
- Team mentality
Requirements
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Able and willing to spend weekends in the Hamptons as needed
- The ability to swim would be a bonus, but is not required
Salary and Benefits
- $30-35/hr. DOE
