Senior Manager, Real Estate

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Senior Manager, Real Estate provides leadership, direction, and oversight for Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation (BBAHC) housing, leasing, maintenance, and facility-related projects across Anchorage and Dillingham. This position integrates housing management, facility, maintenance, leasing, and project management functions to ensure that all BBAHC properties are safe, functional, compliant and aligned with organizational standards.

In the absence of the Vice President of Facilities Management & Support Services (FMSS), the Senior Manager, Real Estate serves as acting lead for the Division. The role is responsible for planning and executing capital improvements, renovations, tenant improvements, leasing, and space management activities, while ensuring compliance with Indian Health Service (IHS) guidelines, approved BBAHC design standards, and all applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and significant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years' progressive experience in housing/property management, facility operations, real estate management, or project management required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
• Certified building inspector preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and property/lease management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, develop scopes of work, and oversee contractors/consultants.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, housing regulations, and leasing requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and consistently.
• Valid current Alaska Driver's License required.
