Superintendent

Bristlecone Construction, based in Colorado, is a General Contractor specializing in institutional, commercial, and multi-family projects. The company also performs subcontracted structural concrete work for other General Contractors. Since its inception, Bristlecone Construction has focused on managing projects that are too complex for smaller firms and too small for larger firms to focus their most talented staff. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Denver, CO, for a Superintendent. The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day construction activities and manage field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, supervising subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to blueprints and project specifications. The successful candidate will also maintain clear communication with stakeholders and resolve on-site issues as they arise.

• Proven experience in construction management, leadership, and onsite work supervision
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, safety protocols, and industry standards
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, project specifications, and managing project schedules
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or other construction-related credentials are advantageous
