Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 / year
Schedule: Exempt | Minimum 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 3pm-11pm | On Call Rotation with occasional weekends

As our Resident Care Manager, you will lead and support a dedicated care team while ensuring residents receive exceptional, compassionate care tailored to their physical, emotional, and social needs. This role combines hands-on leadership with clinical oversight, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact each day while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs, providing direct care as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care.
- Lead, mentor, and support Direct Care Supervisors, Med Techs, Resident Care Assistants, and Hospitality Aides.
- Oversee scheduling, coverage, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Collaborate with HR and Caregiver Retention Specialists on recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the care team.
- Address concerns, provide updates, and ensure resident satisfaction.
- Ensure all care meets local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in audits and inspections; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor care quality, identify improvements, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with budget management and policy implementation.
- Lead emergency response efforts, ensuring resident safety and coordination with services.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Nursing license, a degree in Healthcare Administration or related field, or 5 years or more experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, is preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in memory and dementia care preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with the elder population.
• Working knowledge and proficiency of electronic medical records, Point Click Care software preferred.
• Full-time position, with potential for evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
• Position will require on-call support with weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
