What You'll Do:
As a Day Center Supervisor, you’ll lead the Day Center's daily operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and participant-centered environment. You’ll provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members, serving as the go-to resource for problem-solving and operational needs.
You’ll collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure care plans are followed and participants’ needs are met, while also supporting staffing coordination, documentation standards, and overall compliance. You’ll help onboard new participants and create a welcoming, supportive experience for participants and their families.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, staying organized, and making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Daily Operations – Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure a safe, organized, and participant-centered environment.
- Support & Guide Staff – Provide supervision, direction, and real-time problem-solving for Day Center team members.
- Collaborate with Care Teams – Work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team to support care plans and participant needs.
- Coordinate Staffing & Coverage – Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet participant care and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Quality & Documentation – Monitor documentation accuracy and support timely, compliant record keeping.
- Facilitate Participant Experience – Support onboarding and create a welcoming environment for participants and families.
- Promote Compliance & Standards – Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Drive Team Engagement – Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
- Support Operations & Administration – Assist with scheduling, payroll, and daily operational needs.
- Participate in Quality Improvement – Contribute to ongoing process improvements and organizational initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license required.
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare, senior services, or long-term care.
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with chronic conditions, preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with participants, families, and team members.
