• Night shift, 7p – 7a (3x12’s).

The Birth Place is an 18-room Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit providing family-centered care for over 1,000 births annually. The department upholds the highest standards of nursing excellence, guided by AWHONN best practices and supported by the OBIX Perinatal Data System for continuous fetal monitoring. Staffed 24/7 by board-certified Obstetricians and Certified Nurse Midwives, the multidisciplinary team — including RNs, LNAs, Health Unit Coordinators, lactation consultants, and pediatric and obstetric providers — delivers compassionate, expert care in a seamless environment that includes a Level II Special Care Nursery with Mass General-affiliated Neonatologists.

Responsibilities

• As a member of the Patient Care Services team, The Birth Place (BP) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to mothers and babies during ante-, intra- and post-partum periods and includes in-unit Cesarean and other gynecological procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 years of Labor & Delivery experience required. Recovery and postpartum experience is a plus.
