Role Description
This is a full-time on-site or hybrid role for an Accounting HR & Payroll Specialist, located in Duck, NC. The responsibilities for this position include managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial and personnel records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting human resources functions. The role involves compliance with relevant regulations, preparation of reports, and providing administrative support to the HR and accounting teams. Collaboration and effective communication will be essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in payroll management and financial recordkeeping
- Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping principles
- Experience in human resources operations, including employee onboarding and compliance
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with employment laws and payroll tax regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
