Role Summary
This leader will take ownership of a fragmented systems environment (10–15 applications) and transform it into a cohesive, scalable ecosystem. You will oversee an internally developed application, Mobile Force, and enhance it through AI integration, data tools (Power BI), and GIS platforms.
With no existing internal team, this role requires someone who can operate independently, partner with external developers/consultants, and eventually build out internal capabilities.
A key early priority will be leading the end-to-end implementation of NetSuite (ERP) and establishing a standardized platform that supports operations across multiple business entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Systems & Ecosystem Ownership
- Own and evolve the company’s entire technology ecosystem across business units
- Consolidate and standardize 10–15 disparate systems into a unified platform
- Build scalable infrastructure to support multi-entity operations
2. Application & Platform Development
- Take ownership of the internally built Mobile Force application
- Drive enhancements through:
- AI integration
- Power BI and advanced analytics
- GIS and mapping tools
- Ensure the platform supports real-world field operations
3. ERP Implementation (NetSuite)
- Lead the full deployment and rollout of NetSuite
- Align financial, operational, and project data into a centralized system
- Ensure adoption and long-term scalability
4. Automation & AI Strategy
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows and reduce manual effort
- Integrate AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making
- Leverage modern, scalable toolsets rather than legacy systems
5. Vendor & Development Management
- Work closely with external consultants and developers to execute integrations
- Provide direction and oversight to development efforts
- Establish a roadmap to build internal capabilities over time
6. Transformation & Standardization
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization
- Standardize processes, tools, and data across multiple companies
- Build a foundation that enables scalability, visibility, and consistency
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Not focused on cybersecurity — this is a systems, automation, and platform-focused role
- 8–15 years of experience in technology, automation, or digital transformation
- Comfortable in a startup-like, build-from-scratch environment
- Strong experience with modern tech stacks and integration strategies
- Proven ability to own and scale a systems ecosystem
- Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations (NetSuite preferred)
- Familiarity with AI tools, data platforms (Power BI), and GIS technologies
- Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking
