Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (100% Onsite)-South Loop
Pay Range: $47/HR - $55/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing is seeking an Operations Manager for our client, a well-established commercial real estate firm. This is a 2–5 month contract opportunity supporting day-to-day business operations during a leadership transition.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is 100% onsite in Chicago, IL, working approximately 35 hours per week with a flexible start time around 8:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure business continuity
- Coordinate payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and other administrative functions
- Manage relationships with IT, payroll, accounting, insurance, building management, and other vendors
- Oversee office supplies, kitchen inventory, furniture, and facility needs
- Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HR-related processes
- Support intern administration and recruiting logistics
- Review and coordinate marketing workflow and operational priorities
- Maintain operational calendars, documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate leadership meetings, agendas, and follow-up action items
- Monitor operational projects and ensure deadlines are met
- Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and serve as the primary operational resource for employees
- Assist leadership with budgeting, financial administration, and routine operational expenditures
Qualifications:
- 5 years of operations, business management, office management, or similar leadership experience
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing vendors and business operations
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership
- Strong financial and administrative acumen
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining attention to detail
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with Salesforce, QuickBooks, or similar business systems is a plus
- Experience coordinating payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reporting is a plus
