Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Pay Range: $23/HR-$26/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounting Clerk with our client located in Elgin, IL. Our client is a growing organization in the HVAC and plumbing service space. They’re looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their organization to assist them with AP and AR tasks. This Accounting Clerk will be hired on a contract to hire basis, and the ideal candidate would be available to interview and start ASAP!
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry of AP invoices
- Identify and resolve AP invoice issues
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve AP invoice issues
- Monitor AR aging
- Follow up on past due accounts when appropriate
- Post cash receipts daily
- Research and resolve misapplied and unapplied payments
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of AP or AR
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
