Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Transactional Lawyer to join our Equipment Finance Team.
- The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in equipment finance transactions and be able to provide expert legal guidance across a variety of complex transactions.
- The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent financial institutions, private investment firms, lenders, borrowers, lessors, and lessees in a wide range of equipment finance transactions.
- Draft, negotiate, and review agreements related to direct loans, leases, securitizations, credit facilities, and purchase and sale transactions.
- Provide legal advice and structuring support for transactions involving transportation equipment, including aircraft and rail.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of complex transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory and market developments affecting equipment finance and related transactions.
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the professional development of the team.
Qualifications:
- Significant transactional experience, with substantial expertise in equipment finance transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
