Cleaning Contractor With a Team (STR)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Cleaning Contractor with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional cleaning and housekeeping services across vacation rental cleans. In this role, you will oversee a team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, timely and overall home care. Your leadership will ensure that each client’s property is spotless, sanitized, and welcoming, providing a seamless experience that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of cleaning staff to perform comprehensive residential cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
• Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to sanitation standards, including surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and dusting
• Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to meet client deadlines and quality expectations
• Implement proper use of cleaning detergents, equipment, and supplies to maximize safety and effectiveness
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to guarantee high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
• Oversee manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting during furniture moving or deep cleaning projects
• Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their specific needs and address any concerns promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong background in residential housekeeping and outdoor work experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of cleaning professionals effectively
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet care, and sanitation procedures
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, detergents, and proper handling practices for safety compliance
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is highly desirable
